I was born in Estes Park, Colorado but grew up and was educated in Omaha, Nebraska. My mother was a teacher and my father was in public relations. He was also a photojournalist. I often accompanied him on photo shoots and while I was too young to appreciate the work, I could feel his passion for it.
I grew up loving everything "artistic" and "creative." I took guitar lessons for 5 years and dance for 7. I sang in the church choir and loved to draw - mostly horses. I attended University in Lincoln and Omaha studying psychology after trying broadcast journalism and a few other "majors."
When my daughter was four, I went back to school to pursue medical studies and was accepted into the Masters of Physical Therapy program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in 1992. I married my husband that same year. My daughter became a doctor. I did not :)
In 1998, eager to learn something new, I became fascinated with computer programming and when my son turned four, I attended the Creighton Institute for Information Technology and Management in Omaha to receive my certifications. Eventually, I found my way to the creative end of it (of course!) and started my own web design and development business after working for a start-up.
In order to serve my clients from "Concept through Completion" through these many years, I have become a photographer, videographer, copywriter and advisor as well.

Beginning in 2012, Yoga and Energy Psychology / Energy Medicine found me and I am currently both a teacher and a student of it. Ninety percent of my wardrobe is yoga clothing. I am spiritual. I am happiest on a horse, my yoga mat, in the field taking pictures or at my development computer. Unless I'm skiing, cold weather is not my cup of tea.
